Lego technics & robotics review cybermaster Mail Me | Back to legopage | Home

Cybermaster now available in holland

cybermaster costs 399 dutch guilders here +/- $200.

The cybermaster is all in the style of lego competition there are no printed instrucktions, only on cd-rom more scans and my review can be expected some times next week, as i will be building some models first. So be sure to add this page to your bookmarks ;)

a Bug

the brick can be programmed with radio signals send by a transmitter box, and can also be controlled using the cd-rom that came with cybermaster. using a joystick or keyboard when programming the brick, i found the first computer-bug. when programming the third motor that is not build into the brick you can use the joystick buttons, but that way it won't be stored in to memory, so be sure to use the alt and control keys for programming this motor

Sensors

First of all there are 3 sensors, wich are transparent

in the middle of the
redbrick between the
connection you can
see a resistance

these 3 sensors are colour coded and have a litle resistance build in to them so the legobrick knows wich one is pressed it therefore does not matter where on the 3 connections it is connected. this limmets the possibility to connect 2 or more sensors to one connection like on the barcode truck.
On one model this is used to connect 3 differend tools on a waggon. once connected, the computerknows what tool is connected.

when 2 or 3 sensors are pressed simultaniously, it is a mistery to me wich program executes first. sometimes at the same time, i will check this sometime to see if there is some logic in it. if somebody knows it mail me.

New lego-technic parts

There are 2 tracks with 8 track wheels, the outline
measure 40.5 cm and is large in my opinion:
